Accounts bully tactics and incompetency

I gave birth at Femina Hospital on the 25th December 2017. My medical aid (BestMed) made a payment on the 17th January 2018 however there was a shortfall. The medical aid reprocess the payment on the 28 February 2018. After the second payment the only outstanding amount was R150 as reflected on my medical aid statement. I received an SMS from Account department that I’m still owing R1 245.42. I then called them and spoke to Desiree Naran. I sent her the statement from my medical aid which indicates that the only outstanding amount was R150 and she said she will do the necessary follow-ups. I obviously wanted to settle the R150 debts but I also wanted them to resolve the R1 245.42 miscalculations . I kept on following up with her until last week when she advised that I enquire with the hospital (Femina) directly. I sent an email to Melisha in Femina who didn’t even bother to respond to my email. So this morning I get an SMS that my account has been handed over to the attorneys and for what I don’t understand. I view this as a bullying tactics and also *****. How does Netcare expect me to pay for the service that my Medical Aid has already paid for? So Netcare failed to resolve my account query even after I’ve sent them a detailed statement from Bestmed as requested by Desiree Naran from Accounts. This level of incompetency is disgusting and unacceptable.
