Absolutely disgusted

I was admitted to Milpark on the 4th Feb until the 9th. 3 days was authorized and not the remaining 3. I was charged for medication and a certain portion from every doctor who saw me, all from my savings. This should've all been covered in hospital.

I then was told by Dr Nash, a neurologist that I was fully covered, on two separate occasions that I'd be fully covered for my MRI scan. I never signed for anything and I doubled checked that I was covered. I then saw an account I was liable to pay after a deduction of under R6000.00 deducted from my savings. Until today, the 16th March, she won't contact me or return calls or e-mails.

I left Milpark without a diagnosis, no doctors reports or even a painkiller. Even after seeinga pain doctor. A professor, Dr. Solomon saw me and just sent me for another MRI scan. I went in for excruciating pain for my back and had to pay a co-payment of R3850.00 before I received a bed after waiting from 7am until 13:30.

I'm highly upset and angry and will NEVER recommend this hospital or these so called "proffesional" doctors who charge 4k 3xa day just to say hello at your bedside. Such a waste of time and money.. as long as their pockets are full now.
