A WARNING TO OTHERS

Your facility is literally falling apart. I noticed a ceiling panel above the hospital bed is busy collapsing and there are no chairs available for visitors to make use of. You schedule your Handover period during evening visiting hours, so we couldn't speak to anyone or receive feedback until the staff are done with their duties. I explained that visiting hours are restricted, and the Matron rep****: "You will wait. We won't kick you out." I asked the team to please explain why my mother's sheets hadn't been changed since her admittance on Sunday 18 May until Friday 23 May. After waiting until 20:00, the Matron and Team came into the room and started interrograting the patient: when was she moved, why didn't you ask for your sheets to be replaced? I'm sorry it should've been done but (then starts explaining hospital procedures to us). I will not be educated about your job. YOU ARE NOT DOING YOUR JOB and that is the bottom line. Don't make excuses or try to make patients feel like THEY are doing something wrong = Gaslighting. This demeanour is insufferable. You have denied my mother the dignity and respect we all deserve. We will NEVER make use of this hospital again and am absolutely NOT INTERESTED IN YOUR EXCUSES. We have made use of the hospital for many years, and apart from theft, we never had any complaints. We are shocked and concerned by the rapid decline of this fas****y.
