A bad diagnosis and bad service
On the night of Tuesday 17 February, I woke up at midnight with excruciating abdominal and back spasm pain. Painkillers made no difference and the pain got worse. I took myself to Netcare Millpark Casualty. After much waiting and useless pain management treatment, the doctor who saw me said that my bloods had come back normal and that he would \write me up something"and I could go home. I was leaning my head against the wall and rocking from one foot to the other in pain. The diagnosis was gastritis and acid reflux"
