3 Cubicles in Casualty - Long wait

I went to Casualties on Mon 5 October 2015 after injuring my ankle. I waited for and 1.5 hour before being seen by the Triage sister. When I complained about my long wait I was told that they were extremely busy with emergencies and only had 3 cubicles, which were all filled. I was then sent to open a file. This took another 30 min. A patient had complained after waiting 20 min to open his file to be seen by the Casualty doctor. The reception lady had no empathy whatsoever and merely told him that it could take another 20 min as they were busy. From my arrival at the hospital to finally seeing the doctor it took 2 hours. There still were no cubicles available and Dr Singh (who was amazing) decided to see me in his office as he didn't want to keep me waiting after seeing that I had a leg injury. I was attended to rather quickly after that by both the Dr and a very helpful and compassionate nurse. Within minutes I had been given an injection for the pain and sent off to x-rays. It is unacceptable that a hospital only have 3 beds in an ER for both patients and resus! I shudder to think what happens if there is a major accident in the area and they need to attend to more pat
