20 month old baby with seizure was not prioritised

I got to the ER in Montana Netcare hospital Sunday at around 6:20am with a 20 month old baby in my arms. The baby had convulsions from home up until I got to the hospital. The nurse who was supposed to help me delayed in calling the Dr to attend to the child immediately as she was still having convulsions. She had me place the baby on the bed and connected ECG machine and then did nothing - confirmed that all was OK despite me showing her the feet of the baby were stiff and hands curling up still. She told me the Dr is still busy but I asked whether other cases were emergency to which she responded yes. The other nursing staff too failed to identify the problem - the ongoing seizure and just assured me that the Dr was coming still. A head nurse also looked at the baby from a distance and could not identify the problem either. When the Dr finally arrived 20 -30 minutes later he confirmed that the seizures we on going and gave treatment which was a very high dosage due to length of convulsions. I'm thoroughly disappointed at the lack of training of the Montana Hospital nursing staff in the ER! The negligence is beyond words as I thought babies were a 1st priority in such cases.
