1 Doctor and a team of fools

We arrived at 9pm on Sunday the 26th of Feb 2017 at the hospital. My boyfriend has been having flu like symptoms for 2 days but on this day he woke up being unable to move or do anything. He couldn't eat or anything either. We went to the hospital and was given forms to complete as per normal protocol. The triage officer B.Mxokozeli gave us a "yellow" marker meaning patients are seen in order of priority and yellow is apparently not that important.

We were taken into the waiting cubicle to lay down and said that we are next on the list. This was at 21:45pm.

At 22:45pm with still no assistance I asked 1 of the nurses what's happening? They said you are next Dr will be with you shortly.

After asking 4 nurses the same thing I was eventually told at 11pm that A baby had come in who need resuscitation and they aren't sure when Dr will be done. We left at 12:05am with no apology or assistance. So when exactly did this baby come in and why weren't we assisted before that??????

People who came in after us who were also marked as yellow were attended to though.

So I'm justill trying to understand why there is only 1 Doctor on duty in an emergency room and why the service at this specific hospital which is meant to be "private" and 1 of the best in Cape TOWN is so terrible and unhelpful.
