Nepic - No Service Delivery

Was advised by friend that Nepic is a very good ISP. Signed a contact with Nepic for fibre. Was advised it would take 14-21 Days. Sent an e-mail to confirm when I will be contacted for installation. No response. I had to phone Nepic today to find out what was happening just to be advised that it could possibly take another month due to Vumatel work that still needs to be done. Offer a service without being able to actually commit and provide the service?? Could not even offer a wifi solution as an interim solution for the period. So business is good - no need for additional customers or client service?. Seems the norm in SA when companies grow reputation and service delivery suffers. Thank you at least for cancelling the contact within a couple of minutes..........

Good Day Dear Client

We would like to apologize for not being able to assist you with a Internet connection. Vuma was suppose to go live and get in touch but due to them experiencing some difficulties its taking a little longer then expected. With fibre being a new network from time to time there are unexpected delays and we do apologize for that. Our sales team will only give the information stated above if the fibre was near ready or live but something happened with the fibre that's causing the delays. We are sure that they will get your area up and running in no time though as they are quick to get problems resolved.

Dear Nepic Team, Thank you for the response, however I have been able to make contact with Vumatel (Travis) who has been tremendous in response and guiding me on circuit provisioning of my block as well as process for Installation. I have thus routed my request through Afri-Host for service provision. The thing that seems most forth coming of your response to my issue as well as the amount of 1 star reviews Nepic is receiving on this site, does not boast well for customer service nor confidence in Nepic's ability to deliver an adequate service. Might be something that Nepic wants to address as a matter of urgency.
