Epic Nepic as always.

I would just like to clarify a few things regarding Nepic, who in my opinion, have far superseded their obligations as far as a "Service Provider" is concerned....... and so, without further ado.....

I realise there are many people saying Nepic does not deliver what they sell, but I can honestly say that I have NEVER had an internet service provider that can remedy a problem caused by the Upstream fibre provider (Which by the way has NOTHING to do with Nepic's infrastructure that "They" provide). You have to realise that Nepic supplies a "Wireless" connection to the internet from your home/business to their main infrastructure and then it proceeds from there onto what is called the "Upstream fibre provider" which is not part and parcel of Nepic's infrastructure (Similarly with telephone calls made from a cell phone and when you call a Telkom land line that is non operational, proceed to "*****" that your cell phone company sucks).

Earlier this evening I got home to find I had no internet, which is kind of my lifeline to the outside world after hours. I proceeded to call Nepic to enquire what the issue was, and was told the fibre upstream had problems (In my mind, I could see the "Billions" of fibre strands hanging off the forks of a bulldozer that was being operated by one of our most competent "Telkom Technicians", seeing as they are Experts in making functional Infrastructure, non-functional). I also enquired around what time this happened and was told "Around 5pm today" (13/02/2017). Trying to envision the "Mammoth" task it might be to repair an unearthed fibre cable, I was getting myself ready for the "Long-haul" of no internet. I must admit, that I did not have high hopes of getting back onto the internet for at least 24hours, but that didn't stop me from refreshing the web page I had "Speed Test" loaded on (Partly because of boredom, but mostly because I was living on hopes).

It must have been just passed 7pm when I decided to give the old speed test website a refresh again, when low and behold, my internet connectivity was back on, at full speed and a latency of 9m/s (For those poor soles on an ADSL connection through Telkom, this is a "Good" latency, despite how many times you have been told by your service provider "Anything less than 150m/s is a Good latency").

So, for all those that actually gave Nepic a "Bad Review", the only thing I can say is, is that you were either nit picking or you never had a clue what you were complaining about to start off with. When I spoke to Tyler on my second phone call to them to find out how they managed the impossible, I was told that he had been calling the "People Responsible" for the Upstream fibre provider every 5 minutes to ascertain the progress of the repair and see if they could hurry the process up at all. So, in conclusion, for ANY service provider to actually have a fault repaired that was not even their infrastructure to begin with in a matter of 2 and a half hours, tells me that they are worth their own weight in gold.

Once again, I would like to thank ALL the staff at Nepic for their "Excellent" service and support and for their absolutely Awesome product that I have not had as much as a days fault with....... If this had been through any other service provider, I would have logged the fault last year August and not had a response from them until "February" this year before a technician called to say he is on his way......... No names Mentioned, as we ALL know who that was.

Excellent job, Excellent service and as ALWAYS, the most polite phone manner I have yet to have the pleasure of encountering.

Regards.

Byron.
