Unable to provide the service but please pay for nothing?

I live right next door to MGI university and found out that neotel provide fiber connectivity there. Quite naturally I enquired with them in 2015 for a fibre contract and the then account manager, Maurice went to investgate the newrest manhole and it was not long before I signed up. Maurice said the is a waiting period of about 3 months to intstall the fibre during which time I will get a wifi connection - that was OK with me.

The first 3 months went past and I was still on wifiafter 6 months, 9 months, a year - no fibre. What makes it worse was that there were some problems with the wifi stability after about 6 months and then I started logging calls and complaints to the point that I asked the new account manager Shawn Arendse to remove the service as they were not able to give me fibre anyway and I was paying for a fibre connection at a fibre rate.

The service became stable again and after about 9 months I received a phone call out of the blue from Neotel saying that they received my request for removal and were making an appointment to collect the hardware. I was happy and let them do it.

Thought my problems went away? ha ha - think again - i receive a bil for R17 000 and every time I enquire about this bill, no one answers me. I asked let the account manager explain to me why I get a bill if they agreed to remove the service and equipment, via email - no answer. I asked even telephonically - no one phones me back. I even asked for the customer services manager - but no-one called me back after 6 months of the hardware being removed. I raise this complaint here - hoping that someone notice this and let me know what is going on. I am not a happy customer, of course.
