Should I pay for a service not provided?

<p>I have been listed unfairly and **********ly by Neotel on my ITC record. This was done back in April of 2012.<br /> This Listing is the only one on my otherwise very good credit history and is now prohibiting me from applying for a homeloan.<br /> I need this homeloan to start a new business and now stand at risk to lose a lot of money because of Neotel's unfair decision.<br /> <br /> From the start of my internet contract with Neotel I have never received the service I signed for.<br /> I have sent many emails complaining about this and have all the emails and letters on record to prove this.<br /> I have wasted hours of my time trying get hold of people at Neotel to help with getting our connection sorted out.<br /> We were constantly without connection, after we have been told we are in an area with very good service and connectivity.<br /> After cancelling my service with Neotel they have billed me again for the full price of my my monthly payment.<br /> The question i have is; How can it be fair that I have been charged full price for less than half of the product?<br /> <br /> In regards to wasted time on the phone, I have all the phone records to show how many times I have attempted to reach a consultant at Neotel that could help me.<br /> Without exaggerating, most of the time I reached someone it would take about 10 minutes for them to let me know they cant help me and would have to put me in contact with someone else. I would be put on hold for a further 10 minutes, then the call would be dropped and nothing is achieved, only having to phone back and start the process over with the same end result.<br /> Nothing achieved.<br /> <br /> Why does Neotel have the right to make my credit score reflect bad when they were the party who couldn't deliver what they were contractually supposed to do?<br /> This leaves me in the position where I could lose hundreds of thousands of rands because of their inadequacy and lack of understanding as service provider who does not provide service.<br /> <br /> How can I get my name off the ITC listing and carry on with my Homeloan and then I would be willing to continue my discussions with Neotel.</p>
