No response to complaint, account not cancelled!

Good day.

I have not has a response to my complaint and fear that the billing will pile up on this account and that I will be held liable.

Please HELP!

I have sent through a cancellation request on 29.06.2017.

The internet was cut by 3 July, so we have not had use of the line since then! Which I did not mind, as I sent through the cancellation.

MID JULY (almost three weeks after the fact) I received a call advising that should I wish to cancel the account, I must downgrade the account or settle the account by paying a cancellation penalty.

I opted to downgrade the account until the end of the contract which would be September 2017.

I then sent the email below dated 19 July to which I still have not received a response.

Effectively it seems that the line was not cancelled because a failed attempt was made to downgrade the account due to it being in arrears. (I cancelled on 29 June, the line was cut by 3 July, it is fair to charge me for a service I did not receive!)

To top it off. I received another invoice from Neotel this week (4 August) , charging me an alarming amount of money that I most definitely do not have and will not be able to pay.

This has brought me to this point, where I again have to ask that you kindly CANCEL THIS ACCOUNT WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT AND SEND ME THE CANCELLATION LETTER DATED FOR THE ORIGINAL CANCELLATION REQUEST.

From my understanding the June premium is due, at the time of cancellation, together then with the cancellation premium.

This is will be able to pay off, but not settle all in one payment.

I am earning less money as of the end of June 2017 and have had to reduce many other accounts in order to keep from entering debt review.

Please cancel this account now so that I can move on with my life!

Should this request not be heard, I will go to social media and I will send this letter, along with all other correspondence to the complaints board!

Awaiting your reply.

Alicia Kruger
