No confirmation of account cancellation

I have submitted an account cancellation. I have not received any communication to say that it has been received and processed.

Tried calling to speak to someone in "retentions", was told that they don't speak on the phone - email only! How stupid is that? Customer service cant help either - so its more like send an e-mail and pray..!

Can someone contact me to confirm that my account will be cancelled!
