Neotel Horror

I bought a Neotel phone for my Mother In Law at the end of April 2017. Wednesday 24th May 2017 it stopped working. I swapped the card out with my office phone. It was the card that was dead. I called the Neotel help line yesterday and reported it. The lady told me that the card had expired. Only a month old? She said it would be reconnected within 8 hours. This morning almost 24 hours later it is still dead, I called them again, only to get the most hopeless tele operator I have ever come across. It took him five minutes to take down my ID number correctly and another two minutes two write down the telephone number. After waiting for six minutes he came back and said it would be on in 24 hours, but in the next breath he said 48 hours. I asked what was it 24 or 48. He said then 24 hours. There was no explanation of why this "new" card had expired. I have also called the Bellville office. The phone just rings. No answer, no answering machine. My current Neotel phone's battery packed up after only 14 months of use. I was going to cancel my Telkom home phone for a Neotel, but have decided against that now. I have never come across such bad telecomunication service.

It has been almost 24 hours since I received your message. The phone is still non operational and nobody has called me. This service is just going from bad to worse.
