Neotel gave my personal details to ********?!?

Over a month ago I contacted Neotel to close my account, because I have moved to an area that doesn't have phone coverage. After two failed attempts to get a response, I only managed to get a response from someone at Neotel after posting publicly on their social media profile.

Neotel then informed me it would be 21 business days before they could confirm that my account has been closed (I am still waiting on such confirmation). Fine. However, since that correspondence I am now receiving e-mails from "Nudebt management" regarding my Neotel account being in arrears - **which it is not**. Please can someone explain to me how a telecom service provider can get away with passing customers' personal details along to a company who tries to "collect" debts in said company's name, with no correspondence to me as the client to inform me of such "debt" (if it were legitimate)? In my mind this constitutes a ****!! I shall make no payments to Nudebt Management regarding anything to do with "my Neotel account." It is outrageous that this company managed to obtain my account details at all.

Neotel, can you please clean up your act. There are ********** operating in your name. Thanks.
