Is Neotel a government organization???

Neotel's service delivery represents South-Africa's current state of affairs to the T. I am so sick and tired of this service provider and honestly cannot wait to terminate my contract with them. I submitted a simple relocation order a week ago and to date I am still sitting without internet access. The technician assigned to the job yesterday (from Africa Big 5) did not have the correct equipment to test for a signal (I don't know how a technician without the correct equipment can be assigned to a job in the first place) so a different technician was assigned to put the antenna up today. Already ticked off about the fact that the first technician couldn't complete the job, I now had to make further arrangements for someone to be at home at 13:30 (note that my husband and I work full-time from Mon - Fri. My husband had to drive home in his lunch hour to accommodate the technician - David). 13:30 comes and goes and the technician is a no-show. He calls me at 13:45 to tell me he's running late, he's on VOORTREKKER ROAD IN KRUGERDORP (I'm based in Northwold 30 minutes from Krugersdorp) and that he'll be at the premises at 14:15. 14:15 comes and goes - still nothing. My husband ends up calling David who then says he'll only be there at 14:30 - an hour later than our initial appointment. David suggests we call G-Telkoms and request that he comes out after hours or over the weekend as they don't work outside of normal business hours. After a 5 minute telephone brawl with the lady from G-Telekoms, I'm told that the ticket will be handed back to Neotel as they cannot accommodate us after hours or over the weekend. So now, the question remains: IF THE TECHNICIAN CANNOT KEEP HIS APPOINTMENT, WHY DOES THIS AUTOMATICALLY BECOME THE CUSTOMER'S GRIEVANCE??? I suppose I will not have internet access for the rest of the year...
