Worst Service and no Solution offered from Nedbank.
During May of 2018 i app**** for a Master Card Credit Card. A few days later i received an sms that i was PROVISIONALLY APPROVED for R 15 000 credit limit on a Platinum card subject to submitting documents. At that time i was in the process of relocating and was given a rediculous 4 days to submit all wanted documents, however i did not submit documents in time, when i called the relevent department to arrange that i send my documents i was told that the application has expired and that i should re apply because they could not re open the expired applucation. I asked the consultant if i would be approved a second time and she informed me that the 1st application was provisionally approved so she confirmed it will be approved again and dont see any problems. I re submitted an application and a few days later received an sms stating my application was declined. I phoned the relevant department to find out why it was declined and no one could give me an answer.
17 July i app**** for a Savvy Bundle account online which also included a credit card along with the bundle, i completed the application and ticked the boxes for the cards i was applying to.... credit card included. A few days later i received an sms that my application was being processed and that i would be notified soon of the outcome. The next day i received a call from Nedbank congratulating me on a successfull application of the savvy bundle account and i was informed that my cards will be at the Nedbank branch La Lucia Durban within days and that i will receive an sms to notify me when i can collect my cards. I received the sms and i went to the branch to collect the cards. The consultant had 2 anvelopes, one American Express Card and 1 Platinum Cheque Card, no Credit card. The Consultant checked on the system and notified me that Nedbank did not issue the Credit card that was app**** for when i app**** for the savvy bundle, she informed me that she will activate the other cards and then send me to anither consultant at counter 9 so he can assist me to apply for the credit card she did not see any problems and i was told it could just of been an error from the nedbank back office during the application. When i got the the consultant at counter 9 at La Lucia branch the consuktant began the application and submitted it. The application returned DECLINED. He then informed me that he can submit an Appeal along with all my documents and i could have an answer within 2 to 3 days. He then submitted.
A few days later i called Nedbank Master Card and i was notified that all my applications including the appeal was declined because of multiple applications submitted and scoring that did not meet the requirements. I then aasked the consultant how that was possible because i knew my scoring from all 4 major credit beauro's and that it was fine, she informed me that each time an application is submitted my scoring level drops !! No ine at Nedbank informed me that there is a risk of my scoring drops each time i apply, YET I WAS ENCOURAGED BY NEDBANK STAFF TO RE APPLY AND TO SUBMIT AN APPEAL WITHOUT KNOWING THAT MY SCORING DROPS EACH TIME I APPLY. I was NOT INFORMED when Nedbank staff is supposed to know this and inform clients. I was just conveniebtly told to re apply each time. Now my credit scoring has fallen to shatters because of Nedbank not informing clients. I was provisionally APPROVED the very first time i app****, no problems, now i am declined because of all this. And NEDBANK waves being accountable or taking any blame. It will take me months to repair my credit scoring because of this and yet NEDBANK refuse to assist me. Regardless of all the errors. This is absolutely not fair towards me or any other client going through the same thing. Why must i suffer the consequinces of Nedbank while not being informed properly. YET I WAS OFFERED A CREDIT CARD THE VERY FIRST TIME I APP****. I need answers and a SOLUTION on my applucation for a credit card from NEDBANK !!
