Worst insurance Nedbank - pathetic service from Nedbank iwyze
I recently had a claim put through under my home insurance, where I needed help as my home amplifier was faulty. On the 20 of November 2018 after I returned home from work I got down to my usual routine of house work and cooking etc. I switched on my radio to my favourite station and got on with my c****s, all was good. Thereafter on the 21st of November 2018 when I got home from work again I started my routine of household c****s and switched on my radio, however I noticed something was wrong with the amplifier. Following this incident on the 22nd November 2018 I called iwyze customer services, I spoke to a consultant, where I had my claim details taken from me. Thereafter my claim had been registered. From that day I had no correspondence for a few days so I called the customer services again, a consultant advised me that my unit will be replaced according to the records on his system, thereafter I was advised that the manager will attend to my claim, following which an assessor by the name of Leon Pillay called us up to assess the claim. However as I am a working class lady I explained that I was not available from 8am to 4pm which he stated was his working hours and he would not be able to accommodate me as he stated his vehicle was only insured from these times. During our first consult with him he put fear in my heart and mind as he mentioned should my claim be rejected I would be black listed after his investigation, so I enquired as to why and he wanted a probable cause. I then stated that I'm am not sure whether it was a power surge or weather defect or just a mechanical breakdown so therefore I called my insurance company for help. He did however come to me after 4pm on a working day. My amplifier had already been taken in so he took some pictures and also took a recorded statement from my husband, which was about the days I last used the unit and what happened to it. After which he left my home. Following this he said he will get back to us, which then lead to him telling me that the claim was rejected and now my entire insurance with Nedbank which includes my car and home insurance had been terminated. From the date that I put through my claim and I was unaware of my home and vehicle not being insured. especially in this day and age where crime resides all around us what would I have done should I need to be covered by insurance not knowing that I didn't have any. This saddens me deeply as I have been a loyal customer to Nedbank for almost 25 years not only having my insurance but also multiple accounts and finances with them. If this is how I'm repaid for my loyalty of trying to seek HELP through the people who were supposed to be my back bone I am strongly considering moving all my assets elsewhere.
How is it possible for my vehicle insurance to be terminated yet my vehicle itself is also financed through Nedbank??????????????????????????????????!??????????????????????????????????
