Worst Bank in South Africa
Slow in process, one foreign currency telegraphic Transfer takes up to 7 days to be processed yet they claim they do it in 3 working days. at the Kenilworth Branch there are 4 guys on the entrance greeting you as you enter yet there is only one person serving at customer service with a long queue. At this Branch, there is no manager at sight. I I called the Kenilworth Branch and spoke to Ruwaidah Kadir querying the Funds transfer I requested to be transferred to Australia, she advised me it is my job to call the global center to query this not her job yet she is responsible to process the form when it is submitted at the Branch (so much for customer service). I phoned the Call center and I was being transferred from Pillar to Post and when they can't answer my questions they put me back on the the Call Center main switchboard. this practice continued for 3 times and the last time I spoke to Siyanba at the call center then I was transferred to Sharon at Global Banking, then I was kept on hold twice then I was advised the funds has been send and it is completed which was not true. Then I was put on hold for 30 minutes before I was told that John at the processing center is advising that the funds will be in the beneficiary's account by 12 June 2018 and when I asked them to put it in writing they would not commit to the claim (suspecting that they have not processed the funds transfer as the funds was still in my account in RSA). Then In was asked to speak to Sibongile on ********** 080 who is in JHB and she tells me it is not her and I should speak to someone in CTP where I originally app**** the CPT team are telling me the forms has been submitted to JHB for processing. Sibongile puts me on hold so she can go and find the contact person for me in CPT (another hold), I was told to call Zephaniah on ********** 287 and repeated myself the whole story again.
