Won't make it happen!
My partner and I decided to go through the process of doing an application with Nedbank to purchase a home based on the information provided to us. After submitting all the documents they instructed us was needed we were then told 5 days later that they require proof of employment. We brought them a letter from the employer in this case being a school and this was not enough. We were then instructed to get one from the Department of education and we delivered it today and this afternoon we were told that will not do and now the bond is declined. The problem is we only went to Nedbank as per the \positive"feedback and it being the 9th our offer to purchase is only been given to the 15th so we cannot even go to another bank as the estate agent will be going with the back up offer. We feel we have been hard done by this as we approached Nedbank in good faith yet the estate agent contacted the bank without informing us and she was informed that my partner was not permanently employed. That I feel is ********* and a breach of POPI. She was a full time student for 4 years. She was employed by a school and the Department of Education only managed to complete their documentation now!"""
