Will not extend payment period on personal loan.

I am unable to pay the full installment on my personal loan and nedbank refuses to extend the payment period which will allow me to not go into arrears and have a negative credit rating. Nedbank would prefer to hand me over to collections, go into arrears and receive a negative credit rating. This is pathetic service.
