WHY SUCH TREATMENT?

I am a current account holder with Nedbank, I got a vehicle finance through Absa at a very high premium (17.5%). I took the contract to my bank and asked said I would prefer paying a higher interest to my bank so I can have everything in one portfolio, but I never even got an answer. What's the benefit of banking with an institutions which does not support you?
