Why must I pay fees for TWO credit cards

Several years ago, I app**** for a Nedbank credit card for the purpose of earning SA Voyager miles. I was issued with an Amex and a VISA card, the reason being that not all outlets accept Amex. It turned out for me that SA Voyager miles are useless, I could often buy air tickets for almost the same price as SAA charges for the airport taxes when trying to use my miles. So I have now decided to cancel my two Nedbank credit cards because I am charged R600 annual renewal fees for both cards. So I thought I might convert to Nedbank's other credit card system, only to be told that I once again have to have TWO credit cards - and PAY annual fees for TWO cards. What is the matter with you Nedbank? Why don't you give your customers the option to have and PAY FOR only one credit card? Trying to get more money from your clients? My renewal fee for my Amex and VISA cards come up in March, but if the problem of the TWO cards can't be resolved I will definitely cancel and go to FNB where I can allowed to have, and pay for, only ONE VISA credit card. Give me TWO cards if you have to, but only charge me for ONE.
