Why is it so hard to decrease a credit limit?

Last year I asked that Nedbank NOT give me automatic credit card increase. But this week they did. No worries I think, I will call them and tell them to please take the money back. In fact.. take more as I am trying to bring my credit card ebt DOWN.

I call on wednesday and request a credit limit decrease. They assure me it will be done.

Friday - still no change.

I call. I am assured it will be done .. and yet... here we are... it is still not done.

Why do you make it SO HARD for people to DECREASE their credit limit (but so easy to increase). Why can i increase on the app but not decrease?

Thats so ********* and shady.

PLEASE DO AS I ASK AND DECREASE MY CREDIT LIMIT.
