Who is taking my money?

I purchased airtime through Nedbank's internet banking for Cell C on the 21st April 2016. The money was immediately deducted from my account, but I never received the airtime. I called Cell C and was told to contact Nedbank. I called Nedbank and was told that it would be investigated. I received a text the following day stating a reference number for the issue and two hours later received another text message, saying it had been resolved - but it had not. I still did not get the airtime. I called Nedbank and was told that the issue had been resolved. I said it had not and was told to contact Cell C. I contacted Cell C, and after a very long and protracted conversation involving my husband (as the contract was in his name) I was told that I need to produce proof of payment for the transaction. We were in Namibia for 10 days and on returning, I went to Nedbank, explained this to the branch manager, who incidentally remembered that he had purchased a data bundle which he had never received. He printed out the statement, and off I went to Cell C. The lady in the office spent 40 minutes to the Cell C call centre, faxing the bank statement and at the end of it all, I was told that Cell C will 'look into it'. So, after numerous phone calls, visits to the Cell C store, wasted time and much aggravation and frustration, I am no better off. The bottom line is: this constitutes *****! Is it Nedbank who is holding onto the money and blaming Cell C, or is it Cell C who receives the money and does not supply the goods? Either way, if this happened to a 1000 people purchasing airtime everyday, how much money is being '******' from Joe public? It was only for R50, so how many people would be prepared to go after it? Most don't have the time, and will forget it. How many other people have been ********** in this way?
