What a bad client service a got at Nedbank Brooklyn mall branch!!!!

I opened an investment account two days ago, infact It took me two days to open an account due to bad client service. The first day I waited for almost an hour without being helped at about 10-11am.

I eventualy opened the investment account on day two, which the investment client service personnel told me that I need hot cash to deposit into the account or I can just open the account with the minimum amount and later do an internet transfer from my account which I agreed to.

When I got home on that day,I tried several times to do an internet transfer of a lumpsum from another bank to this nedbank investment account and I got an error message that the account number is incorrect.I then went to the bank(Brooklyn Nedbank branch) today,I was told by the general services client personnel that I shouldn’t put the last 4 digits when I’m doing internet transfer.I then literaly walked across to my bank(inside) to ask them to do the internet transfer. Inside the bank, the personnel couldn’t do the transfer ,the same error was appearing which they then told me to go bank to Nedbank.

When I got bank to Nedbank(Brooklyn branch),the supervisor that I wont mention her name, told me that the Nedbank investment account doesn’t accept internet transfers from other banks, I should either open a transactional account with them in order to do the internet transfer or otherwise I should deposit ‘hot’ cash in the investment account or bank cheque.

I mean realy in 2016,how stupid is this???how im I expected to walk around carrying a lumpsum of hot cash???How can I be told that I need to have a transactional account in order to access the internet transferring of funds to the investment account? how stupid???

But over and above, what worries me that the bank perssonel don’t know the information about the products/accounts that the bank offers since I was given different information by different bank personnel.

How can you then trust them with your finances??Realy Nedbank??its sickening!!!!
