Verification Process

I app**** telephonically for loan yesterday morning. The consultant was very helpful, after being approved he informed me that I needed to go into my bank to accept the offer which I did, also before midday yesterday. The lady at the branch was helpful and efficient. When I enquired as to when I would receive the funds, she rep**** by the end of today. This morning when I noted that I still had not received the funds, I called the call center. I asked about the status and was told that my employment and banking details still need to be verified. <br> <br> Now since I gave the bank a copy of my latest payslip and the fact that they did call my employer and verify my employment a few months ago, this makes no sense to me? And why do my banking details need to be confirmed. My salary gets paid into my NEDBANK account every month? I don't understand the hold up.
