Utterly Disappointed!!

Durban West Street branch has the worst of the worst service. I went to the bank to collect my card, I told the consultant that was assisting people outside that I was there to collect my card, then he told me to wait in line outside. I'm sad to say I waited on the line outside in the scorching sun for about 2.5hrs just to collect my card, mind you only 5 people were infront of me. They were calling 2 people at a time to get inside. After waiting over 2 hrs just to get inside the bank, I was super shocked to find that there was no customer inside and the seat were all empty. The seats inside the bank that are supposedly to be for customers they were all empty, while people were standing outside in the scorching sun for hours and those seats can easily accommodate about 15-20 people.

I went to teller and told her I was there to collect my card and she asked me if I received the sms to collect the card, I told her yes and I showed her the sms only to be told that my card was outside, in the locker. Basically I stood in the line, in the sun, outside for almost 2.5hrs for nothing whereas I told two different consultants twice that I was there only to collect my card. The consultant outside didn't even ask me wether I've received the sms or not, as I didn't know anything about the outside locker (where apparently some cards are kept as mine was). Again I stood in the line outside for so long for nothing.

So I can safely conclude that Nedbank West Street branch they honestly don't care about their customers for the fact that they leave people to stand outside for hours while the seats are empty inside. Basically those seats are just there decorating the place and are not to be used by customers. (How sad!)

Honestly disappointed ☹️ I am sure you can do better NEDBANK.
