Useless bank

After over 20 years of being a client with Nedbank I decided to close my account as I was only doing on overage 15 transactions a month and there fees where around R500 a month. I went into the Rosebank branch and tried to close my account on the 3rd of August. They told me I could not close it as I needed to be Ficed so I went back with all my FICA docs the same day and they said I could withdraw my money leave a nil balance and they would close it. A week went by and I phoned the bank and eventually I got a message saying I now needed to transfer R180 to close the overdraft facility and as soon as it was done my account would be closed. I did the transfer about a week ago and still my account is open.I have found the staff unhelpful and rude and wish I closed my account sooner
