Unsure if a client is covered or not
I contacted nedbank on 21/09/15 to activate the building insurance and agreed with the consultant that the building insurance premium of R190 must be taken off with the bond repayment on the same debit order, on 30/09/15 the debit order of my bond went off and the amount was the same as the previous month. I put a complaint on this site on 30/09/15 and the following day it was resolved. Now a month after that, the bond repayment went off again and still stayed the same as before I activated the building insurance. Surely my monthly debit order should increase by R190 of the policy, but it didn't. I contacted nedbank again on 02/11/15 and was told after several transfers that they cannot help me, that I must find out what my monthly repayment is on the bond and work out if it goes off or not. Policy P***. Am I covered or not? And if I am, I hope that they are not putting this premium on my capital amount that I pay interest on...
