Unsolicited transactions with no authorisation from the client
On the 1st of October, Nedbank debited my account of R3000 as agreed for the monthly instalment of my credit card. The amount of R3000 was reflecting in my credit card on the 4th of October. On the 6th of October, Nedbank did an APO Payment Reversal of R3000. Charged me a returned APO FEE of R78.26, vat on the fee of R11.74 and a finance charge of R277.90
On the 8th of October – I received an SMS at 16h47 on a Friday informing me that my credit card is in arrears and over its limit and I had to make payment to avoid it affecting my credit rating.
Today is the 10th of October – No money has been returned to my personal bank account that it was initially debited from but nor has the R3000 with all the additional charges are reflecting in my credit card.
No correspondence from Nedbank about this reversal was done at all. I did not authorise the reversal nor did I request it.
In September – R5000 was put into the account and the charges were already deducted for the interest, bank fees, and vat etc. It is highly unlikely that this is due to bank fees and or / other fees.
I would like the R3000 with the additional charges reimbursed immediately to my credit card. Nedbank is affecting my credit rating with unsolicited transactions, and I am not happy with this. Due to my history with Nedbank in the past, all correspondence will be via email please as I will not take telephone calls from Nedbank.
Thank you
