Unsatisfactory services from Nedbank branches, Customer Services, Clients Services Manager

Nedbank don't even deserve one star! who knew getting your expired bank cards renewed during lockdown would be such a hassle. Nedbank branches at Gabriel Road, Plumstead, Kenilworth Centre, Maynardville Branch, Wynberg cannot even help me. The Customer Services line and their Customer Service Manager: Ms S Ngiba - No Man! Before the President addressed the nation re lockdown, I went to the bank to alert Plumstead Branch about the expirations dates of my bank cards (end April 2020) - the teller indicated that I need not worry and there is nothing she can do at that stage as cards will expire end April only - her words... wait for the sms. Well, I did and guess what? the first SMS said go pick up at Gabriel Road, Plumstead branch - so went - branch was closed and no one picked up the phones (understandable as we were on lockdown). Then I got another message to pick up, and called again and no answer... So I waited. Eventually another message saying my cards is waiting at Maynardville Branch, Wynberg. To my surprise, I don't bank there and did not even know where the bank is. Called and called - no answer. Decided to go to Wynberg and found that the bank was closed for the whole duration of lockdown - notice says go to Kenilworth Centre - stood in Q for nearly one hour to get in - eventually, upon getting in, young man says he not sure what he can do and went to Customer service desk on my behalf - heard rude customer service lady say to him quite loudly that "client must wait, cards are only expiring end of month, so why is she panicking" - young man was too polite to tell me and opted to see the Manager as I waited patiently for him to come back to me. Finally, some positive feedback (so I thought at the time - 10 days before cards are due to expire), The feedback is that my cards will not expire and I could use it if I needed it however should I still want the new cards to be issued to me, then they can canx the cards which was incorrectly delivered to Maynardville Branch without my permission and I can be reissued with cards at Kenilworth Centre Branch at my own cost (obviously I said no) and opted to use the cards which would "not expire." Me, calmly, headed a few days later after the expiry of my cards, for my weekly shopping and guess what - one card not accepted at Clicks - luckily other card was accepted. Worried as hell as I have a garage card as well, called the call centre - who kept on transferring me to people who could not help me, eventually got through to the card division who said they are not the correct division and will transfer me back to customer services (this 40 minutes later on my airtime) - eventually a gentleman at callcente assisted me (so I thought) saying cards will not expire however there are limits (garage card and debit card will go through for swipes and withdrawal of cash at tills at shops but no withdrawal at ATMS and AMEX card won't work). Further, I must wait until lockdown is over, to get the cards at Maynardville Branch. Ok, so this worked, except the shop that I went to last week did not have cash (so no cash for me) - I decided to go online to report complaint - oh wait, the person who helped me online could not give me the correct email of the complaints department when I told him that the email says it is no longer valid (go figure). Said to do the complaint online via their website and directed me to whee to to find it - Found it, but it only takes a few characters so can't give much details but thankfully a nice lady called me from some office in JHB and indicated that she will register my complaint and will ask nedbank to either deliver the cards to my home or have it delivered to Kenilworth Centre at no cost as the fault is with them - then guess what? heard nothing until a week later when someone called me and I could not take the call and asked them to call me back but instead got an email to say who the case / client services manager is and providing me with a claim number - but a few days later (yesterday), received an email wanting my delivery address which i gladly sent to them and I am waiting for the cards to be delivered. But now have to go to the shops again so I went to Makro this morning to buy toner cartridges as urgently needed and guess what - both cards are now cancelled - so no toner for me, no food for me and no petrol for me. I have issued a very unpleasant email to Ms Ngiba, who assures me the cards will be delivered to me but in the meantime, I should draw cash at a ATM now and then contact them to reverse the fees. I told her that I am very unhappy about this and want the date that my cards will be delivered as she is not answering my query on the garage card either. Now her email is saying that she is busy liaising with the card division and sent me last four digits of bank cards, asking me to confirm if its my cards - Good Grief - NOT EVEN MY CARD NUMBERS. Nedbank has caused me anxiety during this whole process - is there light at the end of the tunnel? Only time will tell! Lets hope this is all sorted out before my matric child starts school on Monday - Very disappointing?
