Unprofessional Behavior

Good day.

My name is Refiloe Rakitla. Contact details : ***. ***

I am lodging this compliant very disheartently against two of your employees. Wednesday 15/02/2021 I visited nedbank branch at Katlehong in Hlahatsi Section. The time was 15:45 to be exact. As I walked in the branch making my way to the counter with greetings, my first encounter was with the consultant by the name of Nwabisa - "I couldn't get the surname." However I greeted her, she only rep**** nearly after a minute irritatingly so without even looking at me nor asking to be excused if indeed she was busy with something more important than me and the help that I need from the branch.

The reason for my visit was the following : On the 10th of this month, my 92 old grandmother together with my brother visited the same mentioned branch to make a notice of withdrawal. Now, only until Wednesday my grandmother sent me to withdraw the whole amount of the notice made. As I attempted to withdraw the ATM canceled the transaction because of the daily limit. Fortunate enough the branch was still open. I went in to find out what could be the problem. I then explained everything to Nwabisa that a notice was made for a certain amount of money but the ATM declines the transaction, as per daily limit exceeded, how is that possible? She told my grandmother did not increase her limit when making a notice. I rep**** to her by saying how could she have possibly known that she needed to increase her limit , is in it that the person helping her that time was suppose to be thorough with her and explaine to her that since she's making a notice for such amount she won't be able to access all of it hence her daily limit is above the amount requested because she would have done exactly that to access the whole amount with one withdrawal without half half and accumulating bank charges unnecessarily as well inconveniencing herself since she is way too old to be walking around the malls and dealing with somebody's else negligence or ignorance. It also poses so much inconvenience on me and my family because all the time she goes somewhere she must be accompanied, she has a hearing problem, one must there to listen and reply on her behalf. Nwabisa then decide to invite her colleague Thembisa to share opinions, Thembisa with a rotten attitude asked me who was suppose to go to SK - not sure if I got the name right - machine to increase the limit if your granny if she did not mention that to the branch. I repeatedly told them my granny depends on us to live a balanced life, she is 92 years old, I was not expecting them to feel pity for me but rather to sympathies and show some understanding and respect. I told Thembisa she did not mention anything to you because she didn't know,. She said to me well we can't help you, you not even a cardholder, which understand and I also mentioned in our first conversation. She rudely said "get your grandma to the branch," I felf like I was talking to the wall. How come was she never told about all the existing procedures. By then three of us were having a serious loud very loud altercation witch led the security guard by the name of Sabelo to come in and calm everyone down. Our quarrel was loud that the branch manager or assisting manager could hear us and come find out what was happening, I saw one chubby lady coming out from the back with no interest of finding out was was the problem only the security guard showed interest. Both Nwabisa and Thembisa gave me condescending answers and stinky attitude. Thembisa stood up from her set, hold her figure and tapped on me as the quarell went on and on. I was bewildered. From that moment my energy was severely depleted I was really shocked by this kind experience never in my life came across such unprofessionalism immature behavior. Nwabisa could not even control herself attacking me personally telling me how am I having it rough with my boyfriend or husband, their attack were just coming consecutively like they planned it. I gave up and left the branch. Even to this day she still hasn't gone to the bank to increase her limit because she can't go there by herself. Me and my granny never got the answer we were was hoping for neither got help of anything now I must drag my 92 old grandmother again to the branch simply because employee like Nwabisa and Thembisa disregard people or their work am not sure. Me and my family would feel much better when the two mentioned employees are brought forward and felt with.

Kind Regards
