Unprofessional Banking from Nedbank

I sent you an email on the 2nd of March 2021 at 14:35

In this email I am informing you that I am changing my bank account and requested you sincerely to amend my personal loan and home loan debit orders to my new account. I also attached my banking confirmation letter. I added that The debit orders should be on the last business day of the month due to my employer’s pay cycle.

TO date I have not received an email from you confirming that you are attending to my request. Instead I get an sms stating that I requested a change in my debit order date.

I have not received any communication regarding my personal loan.

This is exactly the kind of service that will have clients rethink their banking service provider. I am a paying professional banking client which created excessive income for you in the recent past due to honorary fees, interest, etc.

Relationship banking’s definition is the total opposite of what I got. I have never had a proper conversation with a banker which should be the case every year if I am not mistaken in accordance with your KPI/KRI? Which would have explained my employment status, planning and recovery.

I will not be held to account for your inadequate service and responses. I want confirmation that my debit orders are cancelled or that the debit orders are changed to my new account. The account will be closed.

The only sms I got: Nedbank Home Loans. Because you changed your debit order date, you also have to change your DebiCheck mandate.

Reply 1 if we should send you an amended mandate to your cellphone, which you must approve, or 2 if we should give you a call.

You can also call us ***.

Please note that your response will be free of charge.

To make it worse Nobody at Nedbank responds to me. Instead I am sent a DebiCheck authorization about only changing my Date, not the account. Now if I want to decline this, as Nedbank is not reading my request I am told the following : Declining this debit order may lead to suspending their service to you. This could also negatively affect your credit score. can still set up a debit order without authorisation using other means.
