Unprofessional and Disgusting

Yesterday during the day I took my Mother who is old to be doing transactions through the bank by herself. We went to Nedbank branch in New Germany on Shepston Road around midday. I am disgusted by the service we received from them. I understand that it is Lockdown and so many people are allowed in at a certain time however when we got there i informed them that my mother needed to do something and she cannot punch in her personal identification number (PIN) and needs my assistance with it. The bank officials refused to allow something I had been doing for years, okay the matter was beyond me, she went in by herself and when she came out she had a new PIN and it was written on a piece of paper meaning someone from the bank had already seen her new PIN number. Basically it was not a secret anymore but NO ONE not even a bank official is allowed to know a client's PIN. What i had been trying to avoid was done. I found it to be rather unprofessional and inconsiderate of them. Really didn't appreciate how we were treated after so many years of doing business with them.
