Unpleasant service recieved from nedback
good evening I would like to Express my disappointment with the unpleasant service recieved from Nedback in the bluff brunch.
My mother is in her late 50, She had an account with nedback for many years but as time went on she did nt use the account for about 6 years. She had a balance around R6000 in the account. In January 2021 she had went to the bank to collect her money as she was in need of the money. The teller in the bank tells her we can not give u your money as we can not pick up ur finger print. They then give her a letter to go to home affairs to do a finger print, during the peak of covid 19. is this how we treat the old ppl. Then after going to home affairs she returns to the bank and still does not receive her money, giving her all sort of excuses. She had been to the bank over 6 times to collect her very own money, which they kept on making different reasons y she could not receive her money and telling her to keep returning of after a week. Which went on over a month. Mind you that she does not have her own form of transport.
She then finds out that after having her money in the account for about 6 years the total deduction for bank charges was roughly over R4700. Why was she charged bank changes when there was no movement in the account. As there was no deposits or withdrawals.Does this not go as an adornment account.
I have complained to nedback and recieved no joy from them. All they are concern to come through n collect her balance of money with no explanation.
The brunch manager of nedback bank in the bluff has no sympathy for the old people that bank with them. I am so disappointed with the service my mother had to receive.
Please advice.
