UNNECESSARY ADVERSE LUSTINGS BY NEDBANK AFTER FULLY PAYIN OFF ARREAR PAYMENTS

The most horrific encounter with NEDBANK. After working for them for years and taking out a mortgage bond with them, NEDBANK decided to drag our names in the mud and ***** out credit records by sending our names to the credit bureaus. This is after we fell behind with monthly payments by 2 months due to the Covid Pandemic lockdowns which led to change in our jobs and working circumstances. The most disturbing part is that we intentionally made arrangements with Nedbank and even with the arrangements in place, Nedbank still proceeded to list our names and load adverse listings on out credit records. They then continued threaten us with legal action and with repossession of the property. We have ultimately repaid the 2 months arrears as our employment circumstances have stabilised. Yet out names still remain *****ed with adverse listings on our credit records. Nedbank promised that they would remove these adverse listing as soon as the arrears were paid up. They were quick to have our names listed but are dragging this matter by failing to remove the adverse listings with all the credit bureaus they decided to report us to. We are cancelling ALL the Nedbank products we have and moving to other banks. We would rather give our business to a bank that respects its clients, and NEDBANK is certainly NOT that Bank.
