Unknown Charges

Hi I have an existing transactional account with Nedbank and I have seeing a charge of R1 Prepaid Airtime, on my statement. I only came to know today that I am charged everytime I purchase airtime. Why wasn't this communicated to me as an account holder. It is not like Nedbank does not have means to communicate with their customers. This is appauling
