Unhappy Nedbank client
I went to Nedbank Garankuwa the beginning of February 2018, to draw a Will and I was told that it takes 48 hours to do that. I was then given a date to come and draw the will. I was satisfied with everything that was done then. An amount of R350-00 was requested and I paid. Ms Mumsy Mulaudzi helped me. After everything was done I went home after being told that she will contact me. Upon reading the will at home which was a copy then of the draft, I then realized that the date of birth of the executor was wrong, and immediately contacted her before end of the business day and she promised that it will be fixed as it was a typing error. it went on for about five days without any call from the bank and I decided to go and check and when I got there I found that the one that was supposed to be corrected still had another wrong date of birth and she apologized then I left. She still promised to call as soon as the mistake is corrected. unfortunately I waited for two weeks without any call or message from the bank. I took it upon myself to go and check as this is very important to me and when I got to the bank I was told that they were about to call me, to inform me that for those two weeks they did not have electricity as the cable was ******. I understand that this is beyond their control but I think as I was told to wait, I should have been contacted telephonically. Then on the 9/04/2018 I still without being called in went to the bank to check my will, upon my arrival I found Ms Mulaudzi with a gentleman she referred to as the manager and I was given the will to sign together with two witnesses. I was surprised when they had to stamp the will they said they do not have the stamp but that I should take the will as is. I asked them both how authentic is the will without a bank stamp? they both could not answer me boldly I am referring to a "YES" So this tells me that what I have in my hands is not authentic. Then on the 16/09/2018 I asked my partner to call the bank and ask if they have the stamp to this day I still have an unstamped WILL.
So, please help, it is either the bank stamps my WILL or I get my money back. because nowadays a WILL can be contested, and there are many ways to do that. I TRUSTED NEDBANK WITH ALL MY HEART AND SOUL THAT THIS IS A TRUSTED BANK THAT I USED FOR MANY YEARS WITHOUT PROBLEMS IN MY EARLY YEARS, NOW WHEN I AM OLD I AM TREATED SO UNFAIRLY! I WANT A RESPONSE WITHIN 24 HOURS OR PLEASE GIVE ME A REFUND I'LL GO TO ANOTHER BANK. THANK YOU
