Unfair Treatment by Nedbank

I have a mortgage with Nedbank which i have been servicing religious since July 2015 until June 2018 when I was entrenched at my work place. I quickly notified the Bank as I was not so certain of the options before me. The bank did not disclose all options available to me and i ended up requesting a moratorium from July to Sept for 3 months unbeknown to me that by choosing that option I was forgoing the restructuring option which ,had it been been disclosed to me earlier would have been the best option for me. Due to my fear of defaulting, I paid for the 3 months consecutively from July to September thereby postponing the moratorium to the period October to December 2018. I was meant to resume paying from January 2019 but since I had not secured employment could not do so and now needed to restructure my mortagage account by aligning it to inflows of a new business I had ventured into. To my surprise I was advised by the Bank that I had forfeited the right to restructure the account unless I make full instalments of R18 000 per month for 3 consecutive months to qualify for restructuring plus the current amount to make it R72000.00 in total. Considering that I am a father of 4 children and a wife and have paid over R700000 excluding transfer fees towards this property, it would have been fair to disclose all options before me prior to the moratorium and given me a chance to restructure my mortgage and proposed an amount in line with what I can afford and adjust it accordingly as the business progressed. I tried contacting the agent handling my account for a periodic update concerning the restructuring and have not been successful as I keep talking to a new call-centre agent to whom I will need to explain my case from the beginning until I am referred to other staff members to wjom i would need to repeat the explanation. This has happened on 21,23 and 24 January 2019. For fear of cancelling a debt order of this instalment or dishonouring it for the month of January 2019 which is due tomorrow 25 January I have been trying the best part of today to find someone at Nedbank to attend to me without success. I am being treated unfairly and I need help. Please come to my rescue Hellopeter as I do not want to lose my property. My mobile number is ********** 720.

I received a call from the Resolution Manager who provided his contact details and advised i could contact her to ensure a smooth resolution. Unfortunately the number she gave me is never responded to dispite my calls. I urgently needed the Resolution Manager because while i thought my issue was being resolved by the Call Agent Preventions who was handling it, yesterday i received a letter from Nedbank's lawyers pertaining to non-payment of account for the period i received a moratorium from the bank. They also want me to pay for the legal costs for the discermination of this letter to me. I phoned the lawyers and they quickly disassociated themselves from the issue advising me that they had received a list of names (with mine included) to write to demanding payment. They advised me to get back to the bank to have my issue resolved. I however wrote the lawyers advising them that the moritorium was permitted by the bank. I have been given 7 days to make payment by the bank lawyers dispite not having been given the final position of the bank on my issue. I am not sure why the bank is practising double standards by communicating with me in resolving my case on one hand and on the other sending lawyers after me for the same issue they are perporting to resolve with me. Peter please come to my assistance.
