Unfair Treatment

Money was drawn from my account to pay my credit card account after arrangements were made and accepted for payment on the credit card. Half of the balance owing were taken. Family abroad app**** for a loan to help us get up to date with all our accounts, but because Ned bank took such a large amount, I could not settle the other accounts owing now they demand a sum that I can't afford. I made an arrangement with the lawyers for an amount that I can afford at the moment via debit order, but it seems they are not interested to honour that debit order either as it was not deducted from my account. My friends and family in SA is now helping me to pay the other account, but cant afford more to pay more on the credit card account as well. I am a pensioner and only get a government grant. I tried to get some money back from Ned bank to settle my other accounts, thus to pay more to my credit card, to no avail. I must first offer more to the lawyers and then they will see what they can do. It's no guarantee that I will get something back to settle the other accounts, so I can't commit myself to a higher payment to the lawyers as I know if I were to be rejected again, I can't afford to pay anyone then as all the help I am getting now, I know they cant help more to cover a higher agreement Is this fair, after so many arrangements and acceptance for them? Just to take such a large some of money without consulting with me first?
