UNFAIR PRACTICE
I cannot understand how a bank can ignore a high court divorce order. Our South African legal system is weak and unfair and there is no protection for women who are bul**** in divorces. I as a woman was financially unable to fight further in a divorce and emotionally I could no longer and I walked away with nothing, but my ex husband undertook to take over the debt, loan and vehicle I bought for our business, but it is still my problem!! For me to go back to court to charge him for contempt of court costs me money and he is going to oppose it with excuses that will cost me thousands of rands. As a result of this I am stuck and can't apply anywhere for a loan for a vehicle that I need. Why can't a court order be enough for Nedbank to communicate directly with my ex husband or ***** him, after he took everything but everything from me. He has enough loose assets that can be put to bed or at least the loans transferred into his name. But this way I am further bul****. Why can't one Financial Institution look at my situation, at the court order or how I currently manage my finances and consider helping. But not one bank has a department that helps with that or is willing to look because everything is on the internet, there is no personal relationship with your bank but rather with robots. A court order is good enough when it is on the bank's side but when it comes to us as consumers it is ignored. Our legal system is pathetic and so are the rules or mandates of our SA banks! You do get messages about how good your credit scores are and calls to sell all kinds of insurance and things that we are good enough to receive but we as consumers are not good enough to be listened to and so we are just bul**** further!!
