Unfair Bond Cancellation Treatment

I placed a notice that I want to cancel my bond in November 2019 and ended up not selling the property. I decided in October 2020 to try and sell again. When I called in October they informed me that the notice was still active and that I can't give notice again. The notice lapsed end of November and was only placed again in December 2020. Now I have an offer and they said I will be liable to pay a prnalty fee even though I have been trying to give notice for more than 3 months. I have been on the phone with Nedbank for more than 2 hours trying to sort this out but no-one can help me. So in short... Think twice before you take out a bond with these guys.
