********* business practice

Today, I went in to collect a replacement credit card for one that was about to expire and apart from arriving at start of business, 30 minutes of my time was wasted. Firstly, slow systems (understandable when it is the exception). When I got to the enquiries counter, I was instructed to provide finger prints and a photograph needs to be taken. Not a problem - if you'd taken the trouble to inform clients that this would be needed and that the simple process of collecting a new card would not be a 5 minute process! Then, the BIG issue - A form is printed and I'm asked to just initial here and there and provide my full signature in another place! Now, the CPA requires that any document being signed is explained to you before hand. I'm not a new client and I've held my credit cards for decades. I declined and told them that I will not continue to use the card. Cut it up! I took a copy of the document and studied it in my own time and I see the sneaky new clauses that you are attempting to push through, unannounced. I'm sorry Nedbank, but I need to trust my financial institution and this is not the way to conduct business. I don't need your credit facilities. Close these accounts.
