********* business dealings

In December 2015, I was retrenched by my employer and as a results from March 2016 I have been unable to pay for my home loan bond which I have had since 2006. I have 4 kids and have tried in vain to negotiate with the bank to accept 35% of required monthly payment until I find another job.
In May 2016 Nedbank's attorneys sent me summons which nearly ended with my house being repossessed. Just weeks before the auction I requested the bank to assist me to rather sell the property so that I can have some money left to rent elsewhere. Auction was cancelled and the house was put on the market for sale. The bank found the new buyer.
The new buyer discovered that the house has roof leaks after he had signed the contract and paid the deposit. I had not yet signed the contract as I was waiting for the bank's attorney to give me settlement figures. The new buyer decided to withdraw from buying the property unless the roof is fixed. My first complaint is that The bank and their self appointed conveyancing attorneys are now putting me under pressure to fix the roof at my cost otherwise the house will be auctioned. The roof leak is an inherited problem as defined by the bank's roof contractor. If I agree to fix the roof then the money is apparently going to be debited from my bond account. I refused to accept this request as the house faults where considered when the house price was set by the bank valuators. My second complaint is that the bank and their attorney are putting me under pressure to sign the bond transfer documents when they have not given me the settlement amount. When I requested for the settlement amount, I was given the account balance amount and I am told that it's my settlement figure and it can't change. I complained to the bank and their attorney and both parties said the balance amount is the settlement figure. The bank representative called me and told me that the figure remains like that and that I must just sign the transfer documents. I refused to sign because if I do sign, they'll fix the roof and take money from my bond which I could use to pay for rent when I'm kicked out of my home with my 4 children. I also do not agree with the balance amount they claim it is a settlement amount, because I understand that if you settle the house debt years earlier than 20years you save on interest and therefore the settlement amount should be lower than the balance amount. I'm being threatened with auction if I don't fix the leaking roof at my cost and also sign transfer documents even if I have dispute about the settlement figures they gave me. I have paid for this house bond for 10years and I'm not even allowed to make payment arrangements of 35% of required monthly installment until I'm on my feet again. Where do you expect me to go with 4kids being a woman and a breadwinner in my house? If you don't want to give me more time to get a job at least give me the money that's due to me so that I go and start all over again.
