Unauthorised debit orders on my homeloan

Totally and utterly unacceptable for a bank to debit your bank account without your authorization with no monies in arrears or reason for it.

I have 2 homeloans with Nedbank and both my loans is paid by split debit order, 50% at the beginning of the month and 50% at the middle of the month.

This has been done for years. For the last two months I was charged the full 100% of my installment at the beginning of the month and another 50% in the middle of the month. Thats 150% of your installment in one month! Who in these trying times can afford this??

i phoned the bank this morning and while holding for over 20 minutes and explaining to different people I was told it will be escalated and they should only be a minute for a manager to speak to me. The call was dropped and I have not been phoned again.

Again I phoned the call centre and again I was told to speak to different people and the call was dropped again.

Spending almost 1 hour on the phone for someone to understand that something is wrong is unacceptable.

Thanks for the reply and the phone call however, it is shocking that the response is that Nedbank can take up to 21 working days before it is resolved!
The resolution manager was not of assistance at all and speaking to the Call Centre, they promise to phone me back sortly. Its now 2 days later!
