Unauthorised debit
Good morning
Nedbank I've been trying to reach you and I'm not getting any joy. I have a current account with you, you deduct R3122 p.m payment towards my personal loan , I've had some unforeseen delays for 2 months during the earlier part of the year and as a result , I fell back on two payments. However , I got back into my feet and I immediately contacted you and asked to to resume the debit order of R3122 and also kindly deduct an ADDITIONAL R400 per month towards the 2 month arrears . You did that. But twice now , money has been deducted without my permission. And when I questioned your consultant, all I got was sorry , the consultant said there was an assumption that the additional 400 was not paid! Yet it was promptly debited ! Secondly, last week you deducted the entire balance of the arrears owed without asking me! There was a set arrangement in place including a set debicheck order for 400 p.m towards arrears. Why did you take it upon yourselves to go ahead and just minus R3856 from my account without consulting me ? And this was deducted after you deducted the 400 rands . So you deducted your normal premium Plus the arrangement premium of R400 plus the entire balance of the arrears owed! And your consultant tells me yesterday that the account is still reflecting arrears ! But you took it all off and I do not owe you anything
There a big break in communication with your consultants or there delays in your system that is ultimately going to negatively impact my credit score. My credit health matters to me or else , I would not have made arrangements to catch up on the two months of non payment. I did it to maintain a good name
But you're not being straight with me regarding my account, regarding unauthorised deductions , I need answers
This is not how I should feel
I need someone to contact me urgently. I also need bank statement from April this year to current. I need it sent to me. And my arrears cleared and account status updated.immediatly
I hope this issue does not escalate.
Regards Basil
