UNAUTHORISED CREDIT ENQUIRY THAT AFFECTED MY CREDIT SCORE

Last month I opened a Mygoal account for my Minor daughter, the account is linked to my current account, to my surprise when I check my credit score I have lost 8 points on my credit score, when I further check the report it shows that I have made 1 credit enquiry with Nedbank. I immediately called Nedbank to find out about this credit enquiry as I knew nothing about it, the consultant told me that the enquiry was made when I was opening the Mygoal account for my daughter. Now tell me how opening a savings account have to do with my credit? Why Nedbank had to do a credit enquiry because I was not applying for any credit I just opened a savings account to deposit money in for my daughter and when I was opening the account on my app nothing was put on my attention that Nedbank is going to do credit enquiry in order for me to open the account. I need answers please.
