Unauthorised Credit Card Debit

In November I had an unauthorised debit on my credit card, which Nedbank referred to their ***** department. They denied my claim, saying I had said yes to an Approve-it message. I never received it, nor did I receive the customary SMS noting the debit, so I objected. They ignored my request for proof that they sent these. A senior manager of Customer relations offered a poorly described settlement of roughly 50% in view of my nearly 50 year association with the bank, accepting no liability, and on condition that I made no further claims. Under protest I accepted the offer, which Nedbank failed to honour. I am therefore absolved from making no further claims or making the facts public.
