Unapproved credit deductions

A platinum credit card was offered to me in August and eventually got it. I noticed that $39.90 went off my account twice. Once i tried purchasing a product of R50 and was declined, a day late another $39.90 went off. I immediately call to reverse the 2 x$39.90. I sent numerous emails in this regard and the last email received from nedbank the 2/09/2015 stating that the relevant department will be in contact with me. With my busy schedule i waited and waited. The 29 Dec 2015 R2900 went off my account without my consent from the Credit card division. I immediately went in to the bank to reverse this amount, but was told that it has only been reserved.
I made a lengthy call inside the bank and eventually was told to get a bank statement from the beginning of Aug.
I have a wife that is due for labor any moment and sitting with no money in my account.
Does the bank have the right to treat customers like this, to ***** money out of their account? I will proceed to SAPS to lodge a theft case.
Whilst in the bank a client over heard me and the consultant and he mentioned that this is an ongoing thing.
I advise clients of Nedbank to change because when time are tuff, they will rob you.
